On redécouvre ces deux partitions dont les interprètes ont su marier avec talent la spontanéité et le drame intérieur – ce qui fait toute l’originalité et la singularité de cette version.
The Trio opus101 and the Quartet opus 60, both on this recording, have more than one thing in common : composed in the same key, (c-minor ), each of them is the third and last contribution of Brahms to their respective forms of which they are perfect examples. And so it is with pleasure that we rediscover these two masterpieces in which the interpreters have married with talent all the spontaneity and drama, which makes this version both singular and original.
